What Does A Gallery Consist Of?
-
Portraiture
Stillness. Expression. Presence.
A single frame that captures who they are — your dog, at the centre of it all.
-
Motion
Energy. Freedom. Personality in motion.
Moments that bring your walls to life — captured with precision and timing.
-
Connection
A collection that reflects your dog — and the connection you share — carried through the final gallery. Bringing together personality, presence, and bond in one cohesive body of work.

FAQs
-
I am based in Warwickshire, on the edge of The Cotswolds. I regularly travel across the UK and beyond. If there’s a dog, I’m coming!
-
Absolutely!
There is no need for your dog to be off lead at all during our session if they feel uncomfortable. The safety of your dog - and those around us - is the utmost priority during our session. Collars and leads can be removed with a little editing magic!
-
Absolutely not! In fact, most dogs I photograph don't have a perfect sit, stay or wait - and they don't need to. My sessions are designed around your dog's natural personality, whether they're full of energy, love to explore, or simply prefer to keep moving.
The most important thing is that your dog feels relaxed and has fun. Some of the best photographs come from those candid moments when they're simply being themselves!
If your dog knows a few basic cues, that's a bonus, but it's certainly not a requirement.
-
Light rain or cloudy skies won’t affect our session - we will still come away with stunning images! If the weather could be unsafe or would noticeably impact photo quality, I’ll reschedule your session for another date at no extra cost. I monitor the forecast closely in the days leading up to your shoot, and if any concerns arise, I’ll reach out to discuss options with you.
-
Sure, if you’re a multi dog household - I’m more than happy for them to get involved. If you can let me know in advance, I can plan in enough time for our session to capture them all.
-
I always encourage clients to get as involved in the session as they would like. I’ve never had anyone regret being in an image with their dog…
-
Absolutely. With your permission, there is no reason why images captured at your portrait session cannot be entered into, and win, photographic awards.
In fact, Mike’s two most successful competition mages were both taken at portrait sessions for clients.
